What if I need a repair but do not live near Greenville, South Carolina?

Fill out the form, then send in your device to the address provided in the form confirmation after you fill it out. We will provide you with an estimate after we’ve received your device. You do not pay until the service is complete. If the repair can not be done, there is no charge. If the device is not repairable, you may recycle it with us or pay a $20 reassembly fee and have it shipped back to you. Free return shipping domestically on completed repairs over $150. If a repair has not been paid for within 45 days of the diagnostic, the device is considered abandoned and will be acquired by iRevive LLC and your ticket will be removed from our system. If a device is irreparable and the $20 reassemble fee has not been paid for within 2 weeks of diagnosis, the device is deemed abandoned and will be acquired by iRevive LLC. Your ticket will then be removed from our system.

How can I pay for my repair?

Mail-in repairs can be paid via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or PayPal.

So you’ll figure out what’s wrong for free?

One of our favorite tech gurus, Louis, said it best…

“Yes. If you’re a regular customer, we will provide you with a free estimate. The only fees you would incur would be paying to ship the laptop. We offer free estimates to all customers besides other repair shops.

If you are a repair company, receive an estimate, and opt to not receive a repair, there is a bench fee of $50. Unfortunately, other stores have been firing their own technicians and having us do all of their estimates rather than paying a staff. If you own a store or repair company of any kind, please kindly hire your own staff.

If you have tried to repair it yourself and failed in a manner that will make our tech’s life harder, contact us before sending it in as free estimate may not apply. We may still be able to help you.”

How should I package my device?

• Please send in the entire device, not just the board for repair.

We do not accept devices with packing peanuts. We prefer if you’d use bubble wrap or shipping paper. Please do not use excess amounts of tape to wrap around your bubble wrap. The best way to ensure a safe travel is to make sure your box has roughly 2 inches of space on each side with padding (bubble wrap or packing paper) and your device wrapped in bubble wrap. This ensures that your device will not move around in the box leaving it stable for shipping. Also make sure you have enough bubble wrap on the top and bottom of the box to protect it from any potential punctures from shipping.

• Make sure your device is shut down before shipping.

• Please do not ship your device in it’s original packaging. We can not be held responsible for any damages made to your original Apple device box.

• We do not require your charger to be sent along with your device but if you’re suspecting that your charger may be an issue, please state so on your mail-in form and add it in the package.

• If you’re sending over a charger, do not pack it on top or below the device, please pack the charger on the sides of the box. This ensures that the charger will not put any pressure against your device as it can potentially break the screen from pressure.

• Please include a printed copy of your intake form inside of your box.

• iRevive LLC is not responsible for improper packaging to our shop or any damages that may occur during shipping.

How long does a repair take?

Repair time vary between devices and their specific needs, the queue, and any other unforeseen delays such as but not limited to: shipping delays, severe weather, illness, special ordered parts, customer response times, etc. If you’re concerned about time, feel free to contact us prior to sending in a device by using our contact form or phone at 1-864-552-1285.

A rush fee of $200 can be added to MacBook logic board repairs. This fee will expedite your repair and place you at the top of the queue once the current board we’re working on has been completed. Rush fee is non refundable and does not guarantee same day completion.

Advisory

We do not offer mail in services for iMac desktops. iMacs are very heavy computers ranging anywhere from 15 lbs to 30 lbs. The weight alone raises the price of shipping immensely making mailing iMac computers uneconomical. On top of this, iMacs tend to get damaged in shipping. With these factors, we do not offer any mail in services for iMacs. Instead, we recommend contacting a local repair shop in your area to inquire about servicing your iMac. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We do not offer international mail in repair. Since we are a small shop, we are not properly equipped to handle international mail in repairs. If you send something to us from out of the United States, it may get lost in customs. We would like to offer international mail in repairs in the future. However, for the time being, we are only offering mail in services in the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience.
