When a hard drive begins to fail, we will remove the hard drive from your computer and attempt to make an exact copy of all of your data and place it on to an external hard drive for your convenience. We keep external 1TB Western Digital drives in stock so we can save your data as soon as possible.

When a hard drive has fully failed, most computers are not able to detect the contents of your data and special equipment and software will have to be used to properly recover your personal files. At this level of data extraction, we use advanced Linux based software and special hardware to manually recover your important personal files on to an external hard drive or USB thumb drive. During this procedure we prioritize your personal data from system data so you can have the files that matter most to you.

In rare cases when a hard drive is experiencing mechanical failure, we will send your drive out to data recovery specialists, Data Savers LLC, to get a free evaluation and quote to repair and retrieve the contents of your failed drive. Data Savers will repair the physical hardware within the failed drive using a clean room environment. After receiving an estimate, you will be able to decide whether to move forward with the data extraction or not. This level of data recovery expertise varies in price depending on the physical condition of your drive.
